These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Trove AI ("the app"), operated by Ashray Chowdhry. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Your use of Trove AI is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), except where these Terms provide more restrictive or additional terms.
Trove AI is a personal productivity tool that helps you organize saved short-form videos from platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others. The app uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, categories, tags, and action items from shared content.
Trove AI is free to download and use. Saving, organizing, browsing, and search are free, with a generous monthly allowance of AI analysis and AI questions. An optional paid subscription ("Trove Pro") unlocks the full AI feature set. You are never required to subscribe to use the app's core features.
You must create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google to use Trove AI. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
Free trial. Trove Pro may be offered with a free trial. The exact length and terms of any trial are shown in the App Store at the time of purchase. You will not be charged during the trial period, and you may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Plans. Trove Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Current pricing is shown in the app at the point of purchase (at the time of writing, $2.99/month or $19.99/year). Prices may vary by region and may change; the price displayed in the App Store at purchase always governs.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing subscriptions. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Subscription expiration. Trove AI's core features — saving, organizing, browsing, and search — remain free to use even without a subscription. If your Trove Pro subscription expires or is cancelled, you simply return to the free tier at the end of your billing period; you keep all of your saved data and can resubscribe at any time to restore Pro features. We do not delete your data because a subscription lapses — your data is removed only if you choose to delete your account (see Section 8).
Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple per their refund policy.
You retain ownership of all content you create within Trove AI, including notes, collections, and organizational choices. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your saved URLs and associated metadata through our AI services solely to provide you with summaries and organization features.
Third-party content. Videos you save via Trove AI remain the property of their original creators. Trove AI stores links to and metadata about this content — it does not host, copy, or redistribute the original videos. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access the content you save.
Community features. Anonymized details of saves may appear in the app's community Explore feed, and you may choose to publish a collection for other users to browse. Anything shown to other users appears in anonymized or pseudonymous form — never your real name or email. By publishing a collection you grant us a limited license to display its name, description, and contents (in pseudonymous form) to other users. Community content is screened by automated moderation before it becomes visible, and any user can report content from within the app or by emailing support@aitrove.app; content reported by multiple users is hidden automatically pending review. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior — we may remove content and suspend or terminate offending accounts without notice.

Summaries, tags, categories, action items, and chat responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. AI-generated content is provided for personal convenience and should not be relied upon as a sole source of information for important decisions.
We strive to keep Trove AI available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you through the app or by email.
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. Your account is marked for deletion and all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. During that 30-day window you can restore your account by signing back in; once the window elapses, deletion is permanent and irreversible. Data stored locally on your device is removed immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trove AI and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ashray Chowdhry and Trove AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
